In this painting I was so excited to capture the giggles and laughter of my daughter and her 2 best friends as they literally danced around the beach. That kind of laughter comes out of pure uninhabited JOY! The concept of the painting was to bring the light joy in the white dresses in the Baja sunlight and symbolize the purity of pre-adult age of 17 where there is that little bit of a giggly kid still left. The easiness of running barefoot on the beach while the natural beauty of the sea sets the stage for a painting that just makes you feel good.
