"Magic Red Sorghum" depicts the red sorghum in Mo Yan's novels. Different forms of sorghum are like people with different personalities. The twisted lines in the background and the purple-grey and blue-grey surfaces interwoven by the lines are reflections and presentations of the past and present of Gaomi Dongbei Township. The light from gray to bright yellow in the picture represents the future and hope.
