Yukon Spirit Animal

As I painted this beautiful person whom I worked with in the Yukon, I was texting the progress to my son (who also worked with the subject). When I queried him about my title, as part of images from my summer adventures “Yukon Wildlife Series”, he said; ... he does not need a spirit animal .. he is a spirit animal” and thus "Yukon Spirit Animal" - a special painting of this unique resident of Keno City Yukon.

The strokes, although judicious and thoughtful, were energetically applied. It was my first painting using this exquisite surface of oil primed Belgian linen. The entire thing was a trip in and of itself. Available; www.wendyhartpenner.com
