SNOW TONIGHT - This painting is a hybrid Plein Air/Studio piece. I began at the creek behind my home, just before losing the sun, just knowing it may be my last opportunity to catch the golden leaves floating on the water. It sure enough snowed that very night. The piece was finished in studio, with my reference photo.
