Backyard Trees in Snow

Since the thermometer registered 35 degrees, I ventured out in the afternoon sun to capture the glow and shadows. Working in water based oil, I painted quickly to avoid the paints stiffening up. What fun to paint outdoors as my husband went cross country skiing through the scene, leaving his tracks for me to paint!
