Which Came First, 20" x 20" Oil On Canvas, $5,500
Designing a still life is a process. For me I choose something that inspires me. In this painting, it was the Tiffany's porcelain Chicken. I usually hunt through the house collecting things might compliment one another and then put them in a big pile. I stack them high, low, drape pearls, remove items, so several mini black and white sketches and continue the process of adding and removing until it speaks to me.
