I lived in Italy 6 months a year for the first eleven years of my life. I have a specific memory from when I was four years old of holding my fathers hand in the Vatican and walking through the Hall Of Maps. This was the moment I knew I wanted to be an artist. As I travel to Italy and parts of Europe each year to paint, I sometimes pay homage to that memory by painting a boarder reminiscent to those in my memory.
