Ascension, Oil and Gold Leaf On Canvas 30” x 40”, $7,500

Upon last visiting Rome, Italy, I stumbled across brass cobblestones placed by Artist, Gunter Demnig, in front of doorways in the Jewish Ghetto to honor families that were taken from their homes during WWII. He has given a voice, "I existed," to those who lived there. I was so moved by emotion when realizing what the stones read. I felt that by honoring them, their souls were set free. We must always remember what can never be done again.
