Adut

It is not unknown that the modelling industry has certain biases towards certain groups of people. These groups tend to be those with fairer skin, smaller lips and silkier hair. With this piece, I wanted to portray the beauty that is dark skin and big lips which are found in many african cultures and no hair and I figured Adut Akech was the perfect muse for this. This was done using oil paints.
