Lemons, Onions and Celery

Oil on linen canvas. The photo reference was Thanksgiving, during all the change and how we celebrated the holidays this year. I still was able to fix our turkey and celebrate with a smaller version of our family. The act of preparing the Thanksgiving meal brings me closer to my mother now gone for 15 years and brings me hope and joy to share with my daughters and granddaughters and the smaller version of family gatherings.
