On the Banks of the Sand River

The Sand River is an iconic destination in the Algoma region in Northern Ontario. Painted in October to capture the last vestiges of red in the Maples that cling to the shores. As I was sitting there, I couldn't help but feel like A.Y. Jackson one hundred years earlier trekking along the same river. This is Acrylic on Masonite.
