"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it.

Let all Creation rejoice before the Lord!"
This painting is about that sense of Joy--the Joy of thanksgiving, for a day that has been given. It is a privilege to live, to breathe the air, to interact with friends, to do the things that one is free to do.
Winslow Homer wrote, "The sun shall not rise or set, without my notice and thanks."
